VND10.8 billion for “Flying dragon” game show

VietNamNet Bridge – To celebrate the 1,000^th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi, the game show “Hanoi, 36 Streets” will be aired from October 2009 to October 2010 on the national VTV channel. Meanwhile, Hanoi TV will have the “Flying Dragon” game show.

The game show on Hanoi TV will end in October 2010 like “Hanoi, 36 Streets”. However, it will be aired as of June 2009, four months before the other.

The total prize money for this game show is estimated at VND10.8 billion (US$635,000) for 53 shows, coming from Hanoi’s budget, Hanoi TV, advertising and other sources.

According to organisers, “Flying Dragon” will introduce the image and history of Hanoi to Vietnamese and international friends.

Hanoi TV asked the local authorities to grant VND1.5 billion ($88,000) to design the programme.
