March 19: Russian tourists’ bodies to be brought home

VietNamNet Bridge - The bodies of nine Russian visitors who died in a traffic accident in Binh Thuan province last week will be transported home on March 19 on a flight of Vietnam Airlines.

On March 16, 14 injured Russian tourists were sent back home on a Russian aircraft.

The nine bodies are now being kept at the HCM City-based Nguyen Tri Phuong and France-Vietnam hospitals.

Coris Insurance company in the Ukraine and an insurance firm in HCM City agreed on insurance payments for the families of the nine dead tourists.

Binh Thuan police on March 16 decided to bring the traffic accident at Dai Ninh pass to court. On the same day, experts examined the scene of the accident.

Binh Thuan authorities also decided to give assistance of $400 to the families of each dead victim and $150 to the families of each injured traveller.
